Information for prospective

and their families

Applications now open!

Applications for students interested in joining us in September 2024 are now open. If you have any questions and wish for somebody to contact you, please fill in the form below.

Making the right decision

We know that choosing a school for your child is a monumental decision, and we know that you will be thinking really carefully about it.

In addition, our school is 'all-through' which means that (if and) when you decide to join us, you are joining for a very long time!

Reach Schools also runs Reach Academy Feltham, one of the most consistently successful schools in the country over the past 10 years.

Children who attend our schools are happy and confident. They love coming to school and they achieve excellent outcomes.

Your child is unique

Our small size makes it possible for your child to find their voice and their passions and truly flourish.

We believe deeply in the power of relationships and want all families to be fully involved in all stages of their child's education.

We need you!

No one knows your child better than you do.

Together, we will ensure your child goes on to enjoy a life of choice and opportunity.

We'll be holding a series of open events during the Autumn Term to give prospective students and their families a sense of what life at Reach Academy Hanworth Park will be like.

The final deadline for applications is: 15th January 2024

For children starting Year 7 in September 2024...

If your child is currently in Year 6—i.e. born between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013—they will start Year 7 in September 2024.

If you would like to apply for a place in Reach Academy Hanworth Park's Year 7 year group, please do both of the following tasks:

The final deadline for applications is: 31st October 2023

It is extremely important that both of your applications are made by the closing dates above.  Applications received after the closing dates will not be considered until after all the on-time applicants have been offered a place on the National Offer Days.

What happens next?

Two things will happen once your applications to Reach Academy Hanworth Park and your application to the local authority have both been received.

Reach Academy Hanworth Park will offer places to children in accordance with its admissions statement

All applicants will receive correspondence from us (after 5pm on 1st March 2024 for Year 7 applicants, and after 5pm on 16th April for Reception-aged children) to let you know whether or not your application has been successful, and what the next steps are.

Your local authority will notify you of the outcome of your application on National Offer Day

So long as your application is submitted on time, Reception-aged children will be notified on the 16th of April 2024. For children entering Year 7, National Offer Day is on the 1st of March 2024.

This correspondence will clearly explain what you have to do if you wish to accept the school offered to you and your child.

This means that you may receive an offer of two school places.

We will support you through the process to help you make the best decision for you and your child.

You will need to accept one offer and reject the other so that all local schools, and you, can plan effectively for September 2024.

Why does this happen?

Why is the process slightly different for new schools like Reach Academy Hanworth Park?

Fundamentally, this dual process exists to protect you and your children from any unforeseen delays to the opening of Reach Academy Hanworth Park, and to ensure that your child is not left without a school place in September 2024.

If you have any questions about the admissions process, please email us at admissions@reachacademy.org.uk.
